COURSE OUTLINE

You can choose to study for 1 or 2 weeks and each week can be taken as an independent unit. You can study for 20 hours or 25 hours per week.

Each week, the course comprises 15 hours of class tuition (including up to 30-minutes break per day), and 5 hours of varied activities including  observation of  the college teachers. You will work with an international group of fellow teachers, discussing issues in language teaching and looking at materials and activities to give you practical ideas for your classroom. In the classroom observation sessions you will observe how College teachers put techniques we discuss into practice.

The 25-hour course also includes 3 hours of advanced English language skills practice in a group, an additional classroom observation, and an examination of newly-published ELT teaching resources.

OUTCOMES

These courses provide a forum for the development of your professional knowledge and skills. You will be more knowledgeable about ways in which to integrate these techniques and so make your teaching more effective.
